WP1 responsibility is to ensure that all project activities are performed efficiently, in a coordinated and integrated manner, within schedule and budget and in a way that the high research, scientific, technological and stakeholders’ expectations are fully met.
In this package the goal is to define the integrated BD4NRG data value chain, to describe the information flow between the associated parties, the semantic vocabularies, the actions needed to preserve the security and the privacy and protection of the data. Also, the structure, functionality and available APIs for all the software components will be specified. Finally, under this WP Big Data, AI and IoT Reference Architectures alignment with extended COSMAG architectures will be provided.
Development of BD4NRG-GOVERNANCE and Big Data Management and Modelling (BD4NR-GPROCESSING) Layers will be achieved to enable the exchange of information between assets, systems, data hubs and actors. In short, this includes the definition of a data access policy and a legal/ethical/cybersecurity framework implementation, the development of P2P DLT blockchain/smart contracts platforms and Dapps for cross stakeholders secure transparent data/models sharing and marketplace-based data and models monetization, the development and configuration of modules that will assure the quality of retrieved datasets, the development of edge/IoT big data management enablers including elastic streaming data capturing management and the building of the interoperability and homogenization layer to manage the data access.
This WP aims to develop data analytics services which can analyse data in a seamless and holistic fashion across multiple data sources and in different languages, which operate across the entire data lifecycle. The package will be responsible for delivering the libraries and algorithms for big data knowledge extraction, BI and energy analytics (BD4NRG-ANALYTICS).
In order to boost the broad-wide use of the project’s results this package opens new business opportunities with the BD4NRG-MARKETPLACE that will magnify the market share of European data companies and by expanding the scope of the BD4NRG ecosystem.
This package aims to define a demonstration plan, to coordinate and to monitor the pilot implementation phase, to implement training activities in order to understand the value and impact of the emerging technologies and to disseminate their usage. Also, the package aims to assess the impact of BD4NRG ecosystem and to conduct an overall evaluation of the system’s efficiency and added value.
The main objectives of this WP is to carry out the pilot demonstrator activities for increasing efficiency and reliability of electricity network (BD-4-NET), including among others, the integration of the different data sources, the application of big data analyses to the integrated data using the user-friendly environments and dashboard of BD4NRG Toolbox.
Management optimization of assets connected to the grid (BD-4-DER) will be monitored and validated through this WP including the integration of the different data sources, the application of big data analyses to the integrated data using the user-friendly environments and dashboard of BD4NRG Toolbox. Also, this WP will report the use of the tools and services with regard to their real-life process.
This package aims to carry out the pilot demonstrator activities for integrating energy efficiency financing risk assessment with real life energy / comfort monitoring and trade off (BD-4ENEF) including the integration of the different data sources, the application of big data analyses to the integrated data using the user-friendly environments and dashboard of BD4NRG Toolbox. Finally, this WP will report the use of the tools and services with regard to their real-life process.
Dissemination, communication, exploitation and standardization activities are very important. This WP undertakes a range of pre-marketing activities, plans the dissemination, the exploitation and the sustainability of the project’s results. Also, active participation in EU-level clustering efforts and organizing Market Uptake Launching Events is included. Ensuring the project’s results are communicated to standardization bodies with a view to influencing Big Data-related standardization efforts. Finally, the package develops actionable recommendations and meaningful operational insights.
